Summer 2007 – Hi all - a little late to party on this one - but I did
not realize how much this will have an impact on both listeners and musicians,
who are also ... listeners.
Time is running out for online
music webcasters. On July 15th, new high internet royalties will shut down
thousands of music streams
Internet radio enables artists
like myself to reach fans throughout the country and enjoy exposure and airplay
that we may otherwise have not received. I'm asking you to ask your Senator to
co-sponsor the Internet Radio Equality Act.
All the info you need:

I cannot imagine my Sundays
without Nic Harcourt, Gary Calamar, Garth Trinidad, and all the other DJ's
streaming from my computer.
In California, you can call:
U.S. Senator Dianne Feinstein
(202) 224-3841
Washington, D.C. office
or:
U.S. Senator Barbara Boxer
(202) 224-3553
Washington, D.C. office
I've given you all the info you
need to help make a change.
thanks for the ears, dears.
